Have Confidence In His Ability

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

To trust the Lord means to have confidence in His Word, and hold tenaciously to His promises; it means to depend on Him completely. It means to believe what God says and exercise unshakeable faith in His ability. His grace is past finding out; His power is infinite; and His love is unimaginable. When you consider just how great and awesome the Lord is, you’ll never worry or be anxious or depressed, no matter what happens to you or around you. The mere realization that you belong to the almighty God, who loved you enough to have given His Son Jesus to die in your stead should cheer you up for victory.

Those who linger in frustration and sadness really don’t trust the Lord, for if they did they’d realize that there’s no disadvantage for the Child of God. Romans 8:28 says, ‘’And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.’’ This isn’t a promise but a statement of reality. Nothing can work against you; nothing and no one can make you a victim; so quit the pity-party and lay hold of your victory in Christ.

Believe in the Lord with all your heart and trust His Word; have confidence in His ability to make you all that He’s destined for you to be. Jesus said to His disciples, ‘’Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men’’ (Mathew 4:19). All He said to them was ‘’follow me’’; in other words, trust me; have confidence in me, and I’ll make your dreams come true. Have unshakeable confidence in the ability of the Word of God to make you what it talks about. It begins with being a doer of the Word; consciously putting the Word to work in your life! That’s all you need to have a great life!

Prayer

Dear Father, I put my trust and confidence in your Word, conscious that your Word is all I need for progress, success and victory. I live triumphantly by the Word today, excited that it’s producing in me fruits unto righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
