Faith makes The Word Productive Saturday, March 31

Pastor Chris

For unto us was the gospel preached as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it (Hebrews 4:2).

One time, the Lord rebuked the Pharisees and the Scribes because they have made the Word of God to have no effect by reason of their traditions: ‘’Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye’’ (Mark 7:13). The same Word they nullified, made void and rendered ineffective created the entire universe: ‘’All things were made by him, and without him was nothing made that was made’’ (John 1:3). The Word is what upholds, maintains, guides, and propels the universe; it’s the force that keeps everything in its course (Hebrews 1:3).

‘’How come this all-powerful and creative Word didn’t work for the Pharisees and scribes back then, as it’s the case with some today, whose lives are at variance with the Word?’’ The simple answer is recorded in our opening verse; observe it again: ‘’ For unto us was the gospel preached as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.’’ You’ll have to create the right environment of faith for the Word to thrive and yield fruits in your life.

It’s like planting an orange seed in the right environment. Soon enough, it’ll germinate into an orange tree and produce fruits. Same way, the environment you need for the Word to be productive in you and for you is the environment of faith. The Bible says ‘’…without faith it is impossible to please him…’’ (Hebrews 11:6). If you mix the Word with faith, it doesn’t matter what comes against you, you’ll come out victorious. God’s Word is absolutely trustworthy and dependable. The Word on your lips, mixed with faith will produce undeniable results.

The Word of God doesn’t consider the size of the problem, neither is it intimidated by the name of the sickness or disease. It has no restrictions; all it requires is for you to believe and boldly speak it forth in faith, and it will effect a change.

Confession

The Word of God on my lips is operative and effective today because it’s mixed with faith! I declare with boldness and authority that every crooked path has been made straight before me. I go forth with joy, and am led forth with peace! The mountains and the hills break forth before me into singing, and all the trees of the field clap their hands because I’m the blessed of the Lord!

A Kingdom Ruled By Love Friday, March 30th

Pastor Anita

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith (Galatians 5:22).

Observe that the verse above doesn’t say ‘’But the fruit of the spirit are…’’ rather, it’s specific. It says, ‘’the fruit of the spirit is love…,’’ letting you know that love is the dominant fruit of the recreated human spirit. Being born again, you’re born of God, who is love (1 John 4:8); therefore you have His love-nature, meaning it’s natural for you to walk in love. Our kingdom is a kingdom ruled by love.

1 John 3:14 says ‘’We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren, He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.’’ This verse brings in mind what Jesus said in John 13:35: ‘’By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one another.’’ The Master makes it clear that love is all that counts. Your expression of love for the Lord and those to whom Jesus died is proof that you’re indeed a child of God. Jesus said in John 14:15 ‘’If you love me, keep my words’’; and His word says to love and do good to all men, especially to those who are of the household of faith-your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ (Galatians 6:10).

Love, though not an outward sign, is demonstrated on the ourside; It’s got to be expressed: ‘’…let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but indeed and in truth’’ (1 John 3:18). Your maturity as a Christian is measured by your love-walk; the love of God that you express to others. The Bible says ‘’Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law’’ (Romans 13:8-10).

Oftentimes, people overlook what the Word says about love, not realizing love is the fulfillment of the law; It’s the principle by which we live in our kingdom. So you must let the love of God flow out through you at all times. Let your words, thoughts and actions be love-motivated, because only such receive God’s blessing and approval.

Prayer

Dear father, I’m glad that I belong to your glorious kingdom where love, righteousness and peace reign. I rejoice exceedingly for the great love with which you’ve loved me, and for teaching me to express your love that’s in my spirit to those around me. Thank you for perfecting your love in me, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

The Glory Of The Word Thursday, March 29th

Pastor Chris

And the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld this glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John).

The Word of God is truth; that means it’s absolute reality! When you study the Word, you receive something much more than inspiration; you receive divine light, insight and wisdom to cause you to function in sync with God’s perfect will for your life. Also, the Word of God has the ability to transform you and make you what it talks about. 2 Corinthians 3:18 says, ‘’but we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.’’

We see the glory of God by beholding the mirror of God, which is the word of God. As you look at the glory of God in the mirror of God, you’re changed into the same glory that you see in the Word. That means the more you look-meditate or contemplate the glory of God-in the Word of God, the more you become the glory that you see.

John 1:14 says, ‘’And the word became flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.’’ Besides giving the Word of God personality, we also observe in this scriptuire that the Word of God has glory. Notice it says, ‘’…we beheld his glory…’’ because the Word is a person; He’s glory-personified. Glory is splendor, brightness, beauty, holiness, and purity. The Word of God has all these and much more. Now you can better understand why the Bible refers to Jesus-the Word of God as the brightness of God’s glory-the effulgence and out-shining of His glory.

Jesus is the expression of the glory of God; God gave Him that excellent glory which He in turn gave to us. We have become sharers of His glory: ‘’And the glory which thou givest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one’’ (John 17:22). As He (Jesus) is the glory of God, so are we in this world (1 john 4:17). There’s glory in your life; it’s the glory of the Word; walk in the light of that glory.

Prayer

Dear heavenly father, I thank you for your Word that’s a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path, As I contemplate the Glory of God in the mirror by meditation, I’m metamorphosed into the same image of glory that I see in the Word. My life is full of glory, grace and truth because I’m the offspring of the Word, In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Greatness Is In Fulfilling Your Purpose Wednesday, March 28th

Pastor Chris

But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant (Mathew 23:11).

Have you ever wondered why Jesus described John the Baptist as the greatest of all born of women? The Bible tells us that one day, John’s disciple came to him and said, ‘’Rabbi, the man you met at the other side of Jordan River, the one you identified as Messiah is also baptizing people. And every body is going to him, instead of coming to us’’ (John 3:26 NLT).

John’s reply was: ‘’…A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I’m sent before him. He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. He must increase, but I must decrease’’ (John 3:27-30). This is the attitude of greatness in the sight of the Lord.

In today’s society, everyone wants to be the boss. But you don’t have to be that way because you belong in the kingdom of God. Consider John’s response again; he understood his purpose as the forerunner of the Lord, so he never tried to get into a tussle for power or a popularity contest with Jesus. Even when his disciples asked a rather provocative question, he told them how glad he was to fulfill his purpose. That’s the secret of greatness; knowing your purpose in God and fulfilling it.

Your greatness in the kingdom of God is not according to assignment, but according to the fulfillment of what ever you’re told to do. Let this be what matters to you-fulfilling your purpose in Christ-being great before God, and not in the sight of men. Just like the Apostle Paul, you must know your peculiar course and know when you’re running your race, and when you have completed it (2 Timothy 4:7 NIV).

Prayer

Dear Father, thank you for the unique purpose for which you have created me. I’m excited about your will and purpose for my life, and I declare that by the help of your Spirit, I’m fulfilling your divine purpose for my life without reproach, but with joy unspeakable and humility of heart, in Jesus’ name, Amen

Don’t Let Your Family Down! (Download The Christian Porn Filter Software Today!)

Please get the christian porn filter software and save yourself from the pain I felt as a father. One day I walked into my son’s bedroom and saw such explicit sexual material on his PC. I can’t explain exactly how I felt, whether I should be mad at my son or at myself, but I felt this guilt as a father.

I don't want another mother or father to ever feel those feelings of failure like I did.

Yes failure!

I failed my son.. I failed my entire family! I didn't protect them. And I don't want you to ever have to feel that same way I did.

My wife later found out what I had seen in our sons bedroom. And she too felt the same pain I felt. Then she remembered a friend of hers had a similar problem and then told me the solution was christian porn filter software. We decided to give it a try. And discovered that once we downloaded and installed the christian porn filter software and had the chance to witness for ourselves it's ease of use and top notch filtering application, we were more than satisfied.

I know the likely wood of most parents if they found out that their son had such huge collection of porn on his pc, will be to talk the hell out of their son. And believe me I felt exactly that way. But after careful analyses with me and my wife, we decided to have a talk with our son. We told him all the dangers of pornography like wrong approach towards sex, violence and worst of all the porn actors themselves have no affection for each other and so they posse sex to the viewer in a very wrong manner. Then on finding out how he came out with such huge collection of porn, he told us most of them where by popup windows. After we installed and runned the christian porn filter software on his computer, he had no more such popups.

On doing this, not only were we able to psychological draw our son’s attention away from porn, but we wiped out the porn picture from his mind with the help of christian porn filter software.

The experts agree the Christian porn filter designer could easily charge $349 per year for everything his software has to offer.

Get Christian Porn Filter Software (Protect Your Family From Internet Pornography!)

How can the christian porn filter software be of great help to you and your family? One of the greatest problem Christian families are facing today with their children and some times even with their partner is the problem of internet pornography. It’s a really sad story because even though internet pornography has the potential to cause great damages even in a Christian relationship and also has the ability to destroy children’s approach towards sex, the truth is, the adult entertainment industry is extremely powerful and they have the means and funds necessary to bring their unwanted content into your home with or WITHOUT your permission. So you can see, that posses a great danger to your children. So you need to fight back to protect your family. And trust me; the christian porn filter software can be of great help!

Still not convinced why you need to get a christian porn filter software? Then it’s time to release the shocking truth.

  • One in five children ages 10-17 have received a sexual solicitation over the Internet.

  • One in four children who use the Internet are exposed to unsolicited sexual material.

  • 2.5 billion Emails per day are pornographic (YES BILLION!).

  • 70 percent of sexual advances over the Internet happened while youngsters were on a home computer.

  • 21 percent of teens say they have looked at something on the Internet that they wouldn't want their parents to know.

Sad right, but the good news is with the christian porn filter software, you won't have to worry about your family being exposed to this crap ever again!

So Christian parents you can see for yourselves even though computers and internet are a great place for youngsters to get helpful information and learn during the process, the internet has the potential to expose your children to pornography some times even without them browsing over such sites. For example, there is a new yahoo pop up, when you sign into your yahoo account, a girl just pop up from no way telling you she is bored or something and needs someone to talk to, then she gives you a link, and if you click through, you fall directly to a porn site. And trust me they are very persuasive and have a style of talking that can easily convince a youngster into clicking through the link they gave. So parents don’t just sit back and tell your children pornography is bad. They might take your advice. But remember they are not as strong as you are to resist consistent porn offers in all forms, and don’t you forget they are still in the explosive stage of their life.

Your family is precious so don’t let internet porn destroy your children. Please get the christian porn filter software and now! And it also comes with a 60 days risk free trial version. Your family is counting on you, don’t let them down!

The Prevailing Word Tuesday, March 27th

Pastor Anita

So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed (Acts 19:20).

In Acts 19, we read about how the city of Ephesus had been completely given to idolatry. But as the word of God was preached with great power, the entire city was thoroughly impacted. The Gospel spread rapidly and prevailed, until it gained governing and controlling influence. The more the people of that city heard it, the more it gained the dominion in their lives.

This is the prevailing power of the Word; it can gain the dominance and mastery over any individual, city, nation or situation. It prevails over sickness, poverty and the negative circumstances of life. Our opening scripture is similar to what the Apostle John said in 1 John 5:4 about the Word: ‘’For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.’’ Notice he used the term ‘’whatsoever.’’ This is because it’s not just dealing with humanity or personalities, but whatever proceeds from God-such as His Word-overcomes the world.

That’s why you must never be discouraged or defeated, because you’re born of the Word (I Peter 1:23), and everything that’s connected to you takes root from the Word. Being born of the Word makes you impregnable.

The Word of God in you-in your heart and on your lips will grow mightily and prevail over all the negativities of life. Proclaim the Word today and experience victory in your finances, health, academics and family! Declare the Word against sickness, insecurity and harsh economic conditions, and there’ll be a change, for the Word has power. The Word of God is your weapon for waging war against the adversary. The Bible says it’s ‘’sharper than any two-edged sword’’ (Hebrews 4:12). That means you can use the Word to cut in pieces whatever comes against your faith.

Prayer

Dear Father, you’ve given me life through your Word. Your glory is manifested in everything I do because the ministry of the Word is effective in my life. I thank you for the prevailing power of your Word and it’s ability to effect changes in my life, and in the circumstances around me.

You Can Change Your Habits Monday, March 26

Pastor Chris

According to his virtual habit Paul went to the synagogue. There during three Sabbaths he held discussions with the people…(Acts 17:2 GNB).

There’re some people who may be unhappy with how their lives have turned because of the bad habits they had practiced through the years. There’s no need for you to be frustrated with yourself or with life because of certain unwholesome habits you’ve been battling with. The first thing to realize is that those habits didn’t form overnight. Habits are simply repeated actions that condition behaviour. If you’d replace that old habit with a better one, you’d get rid of the one you don’t like.

A habit is an established pattern of behaviour acquired through frequent repetition. Anything you do consistently and repeatedly over time becomes a habit. At first, you consciously or unconsciously create your habits, but eventually your habits will form your character, and influence your behavioural pattern, making you the product of your habits.

The Bible says sin shall not have dominion over you (Romans 6:14); so refuse to allow any negative habit control you. If for example, someone has formed a habit of lying, what such a person needs is to decide to consciously tell the truth. The beautiful thing is it wouldn’t take long before such negative habit is completely eradicated. It has been said that any thing you do six times consecutively, in the same way, will get into your personality and shape your behavioural pattern.

If for example, you desire to cultivate a habit of waking up to pray every day by six am, if you can consistently do it six days of the week in a row, it’ll become a habit for you! What ever godly habit you want to imbibe is possible; all it takes is the discipline and stick-ability.

Prayer

Dear Father, I thank you for giving me the liberty and ability to live to my highest potentials in Christ! Through the power of the Holy Spirit and influence of God’s Word, my character is being formed to be in sync with God’s perfect will and eternal purpose for my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Enforce Your Victory Sunday, March 25th

Pastor Chris

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name from the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels (Revelation 3:5).

In the scripture above, Jesus spoke to the seven churches and said, ‘’He that overcometh…’’ You might ask ‘’what does the lord want us to overcome? Is it the devil, the world, or the flesh?’’ Well, neither of this three, and I’ll explain.

Jesus already defeated Satan and the cohorts of darkness on your behalf. In Luke 10:18-19, after the seventy disciples Jesus sent out to heal and preach returned, He said, ‘’I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven…’’ The Apostle Paul relayed a graphic illustration of the victory of Jesus over Satan and the cohorts of hell: ‘’And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it’’ (Colossians 2:15).

The Lord Jesus dispossessed Satan of his authority, rendered him powerless and gave us the victory! Therefore, Satan doesn’t have any right over the world today, neither does he have the power to run your life. All you have to do is enforce your victory; that’s the context in which the word ‘’overcome’’ is used in our opening verse. It signifies a fight of faith, not a fight with the devil, your flesh, or the world: ‘’Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life where unto thou art also called and has professed a good profession before many witnesses’’ (Timothy 6:12).

As for the world, in John 16:33 Jesus said, ‘’…In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.’’ We have therefore overcome the world in Christ. This means you don’t have to try to overcome the world or the flesh; rather, you’re to live beyond the flesh by walking in the Spirit! That means walking in the light of God’s Word, in spite of sensory perception.

Appropriate and lay hold of, the victories Jesus already wrought and accomplished for you through your faith-filled declarations. It may be in your job, finances, health or family; refuse to accept failure. Keep declaring your victory and you will have them established for you.

Confession

I’m what God says I am; a victor, an overcomer and more than a conqueror! Greater is he that is in me that he that is in the world. I keep the devil and his cohorts where they belong-under my feet; and I live perpetually in victory, health and success in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

He Never Lets You Down Saturday, March 24th

Pastor Anita

There is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24b).

In this world, we all have friends-people we relate with, talk with, share with, pray and play with, and whose company we enjoy. But even the best of friends may sometimes let you down or disappoint you in your hour of need; not because they want to, but because they may be unavailable, or not have the right words to say to you at the time. Then of course, it’s possible for them to get tired of your ‘’issues’’ and eventually give up on you, because they feel you aren’t going to change.

But there’s a friend that’ll never let you down. He’ll never disappoint, fail, or give up on you! He’s never tired of you, His Name is Jesus. Those who know Jesus as a friend don’t seek the help or favour of men! What you need is to have a private, personal relationship with Him, for He lives in you! You can talk with Him, and He will talk to you. He is inside you, yet He is with you. He can talk to you inside you. And also talk to you from the outside! He’s the dearest friend you could ever have, and He has the wisdom and ability to see you through the most difficult situations.

The Bible says ‘’…He (Jesus) is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them’’ (Hebrews 7:25). He’ll go any length to help you. He already proved it through His death for you on the cross. He’ll never give up on you or condemn you! Let Him be your closest friend; don’t be ashamed to identify yourself with Him for He loves you exceedingly. He’ll never be ashamed of you, and He will ALWAYS be there for you, even to the end of the world (Mathew 28:20). Start each day by saying ‘’I love you today, Lord Jesus.’’ Develop that relationship with Him through His Word and the Holy Ghost.

Prayer

Dear Lord Jesus, you’re the dearest friend I could ever know. No one can love me, believe in me and care for me the way you do! You’re my best friend and the object of my deepest affection. I love you with all my heart, and desire to know and love you more and more each day. Thank you for being my Lord, Master, and friend. Amen.

Wisdom Promotes Friday, March 23rd

Pastor Chris

Yet wisdom is vindicated (shown to be true and divine) by all her children [by their life, character, and deeds] (Luke 7:35 AMP).

Wisdom is the manifestation or revelation of the rightness of God in a human life; it’s a force that causes you to act, respond or speak beyond natural human reasoning. It’s also the expression of the power of God in thought, plans, purpose and decision-making. When the wisdom of God functions in you, it becomes the power that influences your thoughts in life; it becomes the guiding force of your life. Wisdom propels you in the right direction, and positions you in the place of advantage.

Genesis 39 tells the story of how Joseph was sold into slavery in Egypt by his brothers. But the Bible says he found grace in the sight of Potiphar, his master and served him: ‘’…and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand’’ (genesis 39:4). In the course of time, however, Joseph was imprisoned because his master’s wife accused him falsely. But wisdom promoted him, and gave him the advantage, such that even while in prison, he became the head of the prisoners.

For some time, it seemed that would be the end of the story. Then one night, Pharaoh had a dream that none of his magicians could interpret. Someone remembered the wise Hebrew prisoner and recommended him to Pharaoh. Joseph was brought before Pharaoh, and he interpreted Pharaoh’s dream. When Joseph was done speaking, Pharaoh said to his servants, ‘’Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is? And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou…see, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt’’ (Genesis 41:38-41).

The Egyptian empire was preserved by the wisdom of one young man, Joseph. If wisdom could promote a 30-year-old Hebrew prisoner to become the prime minister of the most powerful empire at the time, overnight, it can do so much for you. Exalt wisdom; give him the deserved attention, the utmost priority and importance, and he will promote and bring you to honour and glory

Confession

I speak the wisdom of God in every situation because Christ has been made unto me wisdom. I’m circumspect, sound and have quick understanding! I deal wisely in the affairs of life today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Proclaim The Word With Boldness Thursday, March 22nd

Pastor Chris

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together: and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spoke the word of God with boldness (Acts 4:31).

When it comes in making your faith proclamations, you don’t have to be apologetic; be bold! When you boldly proclaim what you already believe in your heart, it strengthens your spirit, and causes the Word to be active in your life. With your mouth you change your estate. The first is a foundation, which makes the second a reality, but your condition will be the same if you don’t voice your believing.

Believing what God says and confessing the same will change your life. This is because there’s power in the Word, which gives the ability to change hopeless situations and cause circumstances to confirm with God’s plans and purposes when applied. God created the World by His spoken Word. He said ‘’Let there be…’’ (Genesis 1:3, 6, 14), and every thing He commanded came to be. Hebrews 13:5-6 says ‘’Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say…’’ He shows us the principle of proclaiming the Word in faith-with boldness!

Jesus taught the same principle in Mark 11:23: ‘’For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the see; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.’’ Is there any challenging situation you might be facing today? Proclaim the Word boldly in faith, and there’ll be a change. What you say, is what you get, so proclaim the Word and create the realities you want to see in your life.

Prayer

I receive the blessing of the Spirit through the Word in my life today, as I proclaim God’s Word in faith. My mind is renewed, and my life transformed by the inherent power of the Word. I’m growing in grace and increasing in wisdom, with circumstances turned around for my good, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

See With The True Light Wednesday, March 21st

Pastor Anita

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path (Psalm 119:105).

Life is filled with choices and decisions that you must make; and in making those choices and decisions you can’t afford to be wrong or play the guessing-game. You need proper guidance, which only God’s Word can provide. God’s word is the true light that lights every man that comes into the world (John 1:9); it’s the true light with which you navigate your way through life.

Hebrews 4:12-13 highlights the power and efficacy of God’s Word, as well as its functionality as light, and attribute as a person: ‘’For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piecing even to the dividing asunder of the soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.’’ In other words, the Word of God knows everything; it touches every subject in life and discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart.

No one can know what’s true or real except through the light of God’s Word, for the word is truth (John 17:17), and truth means reality. Therefore, seeing with the true light means seeing from the perspective of God’s Word; interpreting situations, circumstances and the condition of your life from the standpoint of the World.

If the true light-God’s word-dwells in you richly, as admonished in Colossians 3:16, fear, failure, lack, sickness and all other results of darkness won’t have any place in you. You won’t be defeated because you’ll see that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the World. You’ll refuse to be sick, because through the light of God’s Word, you’ll see that divine health is your present-possession and right in Christ. Let your outlook on life be from the Word’s perspective, and you’ll have a clear direction in life.

If today there seems to be darkness in any area of your life, perhaps, in your family, health, academics or business, take a hold of God’s Word and the darkness will disappear. The solution to darkness is light, and God’s word is light.

Confession

The Word of God is a lamp unto my feet a light unto my path; I have the light of life and function with the true light because I’m born of God’s Word, which is light! I know, and walk in the inheritance in Christ Jesus because I live and see only with the true light.

Consult With the Spirit Tuesday, March 20th

Pastor Chris

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye (Psalm 32:8).

The Holy Spirit can tell you what to do in every situation for you to always win in life. Many are frustrated because they never consult with Him for help, guidance, or direction. They’d rather go to a relative or friend for help when they’re in trouble. Sadly, those they meet for help only provide them counsel based on human reason and sense knowledge; and that doesn’t work!

Learn to consult with the Holy Spirit for answers. Ask him for guidance and direction concerning everything you do. When you face challenges that seem insurmountable, call on Him, and He’ll tell you what to do; He’ll give you the strategies to employ. The great men and women we read about in the scriptures understood this truth, which was why they never took a major step until they had consulted with the Lord.

Joshua, for one, had to rely on the Holy Spirit to tell him how to take over Jericho: ‘’And it came to pass when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua felt on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, what saith my Lord unto his servant?’’ (Joshua 5:13-14). The Captain of the Lord’s host referred to above is the Holy Spirit. He gave Joshua a strategy no human thinking could have reasoned out. No human thinking could have thought of bringing down those monstrous walls of Jericho just by blowing trumpets and having the people shout and praise God. But the Holy Ghost said so and it happened just that way. The Bible says, ‘’By faith the walls of Jericho fell down…’’ (Hebrews 11:30).

Learn to trust the Holy Spirit, depend on Him at all times. For He’s with you, in you and for you! He’ll teach you, lead you and guide you into victory in everything you do, if you’d only ask Him.

Prayer

Dear Holy Spirit, thank you for leading me in the path of victory and success always. I know I’ll never walk in darkness, confusion or uncertainty because you’re my light. I love and appreciate you dearly, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

The Right Order In Prayer Monday, March 19th

Pastor Chris

And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, whatever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you (John 16:23).

Jesus’ teaching on prayer in our opening scripture emphasizes a new order in prayer. First, the Master refers to a new day-the day of salvation-where you’ll pray directly to the Father in His Name; standing in His stead. This was before his death, burial and resurrection. Thus, the salvation which could only be effective after His resurrection had not been consummated. So when He said, ‘’…in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you’’ He was talking about the day of the Church; after His resurrection.

In spite of this, many still ignorantly petition Jesus when they pray. When you listen to the content of their prayer, you’ll hear ‘’Lord Jesus, I ask that you grant such-and-such in the Name of Jesus.’’ According to the teaching of Jesus, it’s wrong to pray that way. For example, the ambassador of a country doesn’t function in that office in his home country. His job is to operate on behalf of his government of his country in the place of assignment-in another country.

In the same way, it will be wrong to pray to Jesus in His Name. You stand in His stead, with the power of attorney to use His Name and make a demand of the Father. So you don’t pray to Him or through Him but in His Name. That’s why he said ‘’Go in my Name!’’ You might say, ‘’But I prayed to Jesus and got results’!’ Well, that’s because you’re a baby in the things of God; after a while, God expects you to mature. In Acts 17:30, the Bible tells us: ‘’And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent.’’ When you pray in the Name of Jesus, you stand in His place and become His voice; it’s as though Jesus himself were asking. Thus whatever demands you make of the Father will be granted you.

If you have a request to make of the Father and you want the request granted, do it in the Name of Jesus. That’s the new and right order in prayer for the new creation.

Prayer

Dear Father, thank you for granting me direct access into your presence to ask and receive from you, so that my joy may be full. I’m grateful for your immeasurable love and kindness to us in Christ Jesus, and to know I can always receive answers, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

You’re The Chosen Of The Lord! Sunday, March 18th

Pastor Anita

For many are called, but few are chosen (Mathew 22:14).

When Jesus said many are called but few are chosen, some believe He meant, ‘’…many are called to be Christians but only a few will be chosen to go to heaven.’’ That’s not true. The call being made is the call of salvation to the whole world; that Jesus has died and risen for everyone. Those who believe and are saved are the chosen ones, the ‘’ecclesia’’-the called-out ones; who have been sanctified and separated from the world unto God.

The day you gave your heart to Christ you were separated from the world. The Lord Jesus, while talking about you in John 15:19, said, ‘’…ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world…’’ In other words, you’ve been called out or chosen out of the evil and decay that exist in the world to a life of purpose, victory, and success. This choice was made before the foundations of the earth: ‘’According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love’’ (Ephesians).

The Lord chose you to be holy and without blame before Him in love; He did this before you were born again. Accept this truth and never think you’re not good enough for God. He chose you before you new Him. He knew all the mistakes you would ever make and still chose you, to reveal His glory through you. Jesus said, ‘’Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain…’’ (John 15:16).

Don’t allow guilt-consciousness to rob you of your special place in God; you’re the chosen of the Lord, created in Christ Jesus unto good works.

Prayer

I thank you Lord for choosing me out of this world and separating me unto the live of purpose, victory, glory, and success! I thank you for accepting me in the beloved and manifesting yourself to me and through me, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

The Impregnable Breed Saturday, March 17th

Pastor Chris

And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17-18).

In our opening scripture Jesus describes a peculiar breed of supermen-the new creation in Christ Jesus-that’s us! We’re the impregnable breed. We have the power to cast out devils, speak with new tongues, take up serpents, and if we drink any deadly thing, we remain unscathed. These are the signs by which we’re recognized.

Acts 27-28 gives credence to the underlined portion of our opening text. The Apostle Paul with two hundred and seventy-six other passengers were journeying on a ship to Rome, but they found themselves on the Island of Malta because their ship had broken apart due to the stormy weather. While the natives of that island built a huge bonfire to keep them warm against the cold, Paul pitched in and helped.

Act 28:3-5: ‘’And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand…And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.’’ A venomous snake bit Paul, and its deadly venom had no impact on him! He merely shook it into the fire and kept on with what he was doing.

The man in Christ is a new creation; thus, he’s unassailable-immune to attacks and incapable of being overcome by the enemy. If everyone around him was ‘’catching the flu,’’ he would remain unflustered because the life in him cannot be infected by any deadly thing-poison, sickness, disease or infirmity!

Christ in you makes you impregnable to all the attacks and machinations of the evil one. That’s why Jesus said in Luke 10:19 that nothing shall any means hurt you! The life in you makes you superior to Satan, and secures you against sickness, disease, infirmity, defeat and failure.

Confession

I’m a new creation in Christ Jesus; I have the life of God in me! I’m superior to Satan, and I’ve overcome the world. I am seated together with Christ in the heavenly realms, far above all principality and power, where I reign and rule as a king in this life.

You Can Discern His Voice Friday, March 16th

Pastor Chris

My ship hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me (John 10:27).

You may ask: ‘’How do I discern and hearken to the voice of the Holy Spirit?’’ If as a Christian, you find it difficult to discern the Spirit, it’s not because the voice is weak when He speaks. It’s because you haven’t trained your spirit to discern His voice. It’s possible to train yourself to discern the voice of the Spirit, and here are a few thoughts that’ll help you.

First, you must develop a voracious appetite for the Word. Study the Word and know it for yourself. The voice of God’s Spirit is made known to you through the written word. Secondly, train your spirit to respond to God by acting on the Word quickly. When you receive instructions or counsel from God’s Word, don’t delay; act quickly. That’s learning to train your spirit.

Thirdly, praying according to God’s Word is very vital. Prayer helps your spirit to become a dependable receptacle of God’s ideas, visions and prompting. Pray mostly with the spirit, in other tongues. The more you do, the more sensitive your spirit will be to His voice.

Finally, desire spiritual things-things that matter to God-from your heart and pursue them. The proof of desire is pursuit. Engage yourself with activities that’ll edify your spirit such as soul winning, participation in Church meetings and services etc. Commit your resources, time, money and attention to the things that matter to God.

Prayer

Dear Father, thank you for the vital union that I have with you. The Bible declares that anyone who’s joined to the Lord is one Spirit with Him. I am one spirit with you; therefore, I’m able to hear and understand your words, and I give no place to the flesh, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
