Cheer Up; The Word Is Dependable!

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them who are sanctified (Acts 20-32).

There’s no gainsaying the fact that God’s word is dependable. The Psalmist conveyed this truth succinctly in Psalm 119:89 when he declared, ‘’…Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.’’ He thus underlined the undisputable reliability of God’s word, a fact known to the angels, demons and all of the creation. What this implies, in effect, is that whatever God has said about you in His word is dependable.

The Apostle Paul, in His parting address to the brethren at Ephesus, as read in our opening scripture, commended them to God, and to the word of his grace, ‘’…which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.’’ For the Apostle to have ‘’delivered’’ God’s people to God’s word mean the word has enough power to build, sustain, transform and upgrade the life of any one who’ll trust in it.

It doesn’t matter where you’ve been or what has happened to you; be of good cheer; because with the word you can change things! You can trust the word to effect changes in your family, home, finances, and physical body. All you have to do is accept what the word says about you as absolute truth and refuse to be compelled by natural circumstances. You’re healthy, rich, powerful, full of grace, wisdom and strength; that’s what His word says. However, you’ve got to acknowledge and declare this truth.

When sickness, poverty or fear tries to attack you, insist on what the word says! Shout out loud, ‘’It is written; I have the health of God in me! I’m rich! I’m more than a conqueror; a bundle of success, and a victor in Christ Jesus!’’ This is how you stand your ground on God’s Word and ensure its power is manifest in your life; it’s through your confessions of faith! Whatever the Lord has said about you is dependable, so be bold to speak the same thing in consent, and the Word will prevail in your life.

Confession

I’m what God says I am; His Word is working in me mightily and producing the fruit of what it talks about! I live in divine health, supernatural abundance, and in continuous victory and prosperity because I live by God’s infallible and dependable Word! Glory To God!
