According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3).
In Christ Jesus, we have received the transcendent life. It’s a life of glory, virtue, excellence and perfection. It’s a life for the miraculous every day! Though He lived and died in our place as a man, His life on earth was an unending stream of the miraculous. He showed us an example to follow; letting us know we can do the same. He felt pain and got tied and hungry like every one of us, and the Bible says ‘’…he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross’’ (Philippians 2:8).
Jesus fasted like we do today, ‘’to keep the flesh under,’’ because He wanted to obey God. He needed to be anointed by God to do the impossible (Acts 10:38); and prayed often. As Christians, we can and should also live as he did. If you follow his example, and practice his Word, you’ll certainly have the same results He had while he was on earth; you’ll live every day in the miraculous!
We actually don’t have any excuse; Jesus did every thing He did for our sakes; we’re to learn of Him and live victoriously as He did-in the supernatural-every day!
Prayer
Dear father, I thank you for the victorious sacrifice of Jesus for me on the cross which has made me a champion and a victor for ever! I thank you, Lord, for bringing me into your marvelous light, where I reign and rule as a king in this life, living every day in the supernatural, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
